These terms apply to every charter we confirm. They are summarised here in plain language; the signed charter agreement you receive with your reservation is the binding version.
THE CHARTER
A charter is a period of eight hours on a named vessel, with a start time agreed in advance and normally falling between 10:00 and 13:00. Shorter sunset trips are quoted separately.
WHAT THE RATE COVERS
Crew, insurance, towels, snorkels and Spanish VAT at twenty-one per cent. Vessels of forty feet and above additionally carry drinks, snacks and a stand-up paddleboard, with fruit from fifty feet up. Fuel is excluded and is calculated and invoiced on the day of the charter.
GUESTS
The maximum number of guests is set by each vessel’s licence and cannot be exceeded for any reason. Crew are not counted within that figure. Children count as guests regardless of age.
THE SKIPPER’S AUTHORITY
The skipper commands the vessel at all times and may alter or shorten a route, change an anchorage or return to port early where safety, weather or regulation requires it. That decision is final and is made in the interest of everyone on board.
CONDUCT ON BOARD
Shoes are removed at boarding. Anything that endangers guests, crew or the vessel will end the charter. Damage caused by guests is chargeable at cost.
WEATHER
If conditions make a charter unsafe or unpleasant, we contact you before departure to agree an alternative. Full details of that process, and of everything else on this page, are on the FAQ page and available from our team. Rates for each vessel are published on the fleet pages. How we handle the personal data you send with an enquiry is described in the privacy policy.
