A boat rental is the smaller, quicker end of what we do: an open deck, a skipper, seven to eleven people and a coastline to work through. No cabins to speak of, and none needed for a single day.

Neither is better. A day boat spends more of the eight hours moving and swimming; a yacht spends more of them anchored and eating. If your group leans towards the second, start on the yacht rental page instead.

THE DAY BOAT FLEET

The Pardo 39 and the Pardo 44 are the walkarounds most groups ask for. The Chiara 37 takes the largest group for the money, and the Aura 44 is the quiet one for families.

WHERE YOU LEAVE FROM

Boats are based in Ibiza. Your exact berth and boarding point are confirmed with the reservation, along with parking notes and the crew’s number for the morning. From there the usual choices are the south coast towards Cala Jondal and Es Cavallet, the west coast towards Cala Conta and Es Vedrà, or the crossing south to Formentera.

A LONGER RUN

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do I need a licence to rent a boat in Ibiza?

Not with us. Every boat in the fleet goes out with a professional skipper included in the rate, so no member of your group needs a qualification of any kind.

Can we bring our own food and drink?

Yes. There is cool storage on every boat. On anything from forty feet up we already supply water, soft drinks, some beer, wine, cava and snacks, so most groups only bring what they particularly want.

What is the largest group a day boat takes?

Eleven guests, on the Chiara 37 and the Bambina 44. Above that number you move onto a yacht, where the limit is twelve. For a celebration rather than a day out, see private boat parties in Ibiza.

Is there a toilet on board?

Every boat we charter has a heads compartment below deck. On the larger yachts there is more than one, with a shower.

Can we swim straight off the boat?

That is the point of the day. Each boat has a bathing ladder aft, and snorkels are supplied. From forty feet up there is a stand-up paddleboard on board as well.
